Assemblies

We come together every day for a morning assembly where we celebrate our achievements, learn together and reflect. Our assemblies are carefully planned to cover a wide variety of themes from awareness days, religious festivals and currents events to celebrating authors, musicians and historical figures, learning about other cultures and celebrating British Values. We regularly welcome visiting speakers to our assemblies also. 

Our Monday morning Celebration Assembly is a special time when parents and carers are invited to join us as we award Roach Vale Recognition Awards to selected students who have shown exceptional effort or achievement during the previous week. We also use this time to congratulate the children who have had their names entered into the Gold Book for exceptional effort in their work during the week. It is a special time for everyone to celebrate and recognise the achievements of our friends.
