Attendance

Regular school attendance is essential for your child’s academic success and overall development. When children attend school consistently, they are better able to keep up with lessons, participate in classroom activities, and build strong relationships with peers and teachers. Frequent absences can lead to gaps in learning, making it harder for children to catch up. In addition to academic growth, school provides opportunities for socialization, extracurricular activities, and personal development. By ensuring your child attends school regularly, you are helping them stay on track and giving them the best chance to succeed.

At Roach Vale Primary School we monitor attendance closely and work with an Educational Welfare Officer to ensure all children are supported to attend school regularly. We encourage all parents to read the Attendance Policy in full but the image below provides a useful summary.
