Roach Vale School Association is a fund-raising group made up of parents, past and present, who work together to organise events to support the children of the school.
In recent years we have raised funds for outdoor musical equipment, outdoor play equipment, gardening equipment including a shed and new staging for the school hall, and we have contributed towards an outdoor stage, trips and visits, and a leavers celebration for Year 6 children.
Our two main fund-raising events each year are the Christmas Fair and the Summer Fair but in between we organise discos, bingo evenings, art and craft sessions and an Easter egg raffle. We are always looking for new fund-raising ideas and new members wishing to join the committee are always welcomed.
Our AGM is held in September and all parents are invited to attend. We elect a Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer every two years at the AGM.
